A 55-year-old man suffered serious injuries in an alleged group assault in Byron Bay.
The man was walking through Railway Park about 2.30am on Saturday, August 8, when he was approached by a group of unknown people.
An altercation followed before several members of the group allegedly assaulted him and left the area.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Tweed Heads Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the Railway Park area.
