A Ballina airport carpark crash has claimed the life of a man after a sedan struck two parked vehicles.
The 90-year-old man was driving the sedan when the crash occurred about midday on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the airport following reports of the collision.
Officers from Richmond Police District attended and found the sedan had crashed into two parked vehicles.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver before taking him to hospital with serious injuries. He later died.
Police have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the Ballina airport carpark crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
